Airworthiness Directives; Bombardier, Inc., Airplanes

The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc., Model BD-100-1A10 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of erratic electrical system status on the push button annunciators (PBAs) and the engine instrument and crew alerting system (EICAS). This proposed AD would require revising the existing airplane flight manual (AFM) and applicable corresponding operational procedures to incorporate procedures to be applied during erroneous electrical status indication conditions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
